Welcome to Margaret Meneghel, Artist-in-Residence for 2023 Term 4 & 2024 Term 1.
Margaret is a local Perth-based abstract artist. She uses brave and vivid colour and texture to capture the uniqueness of WA's landscape, seascape, and urban life. Margaret works predominately with acrylic on canvas and paper using a range of tools to create layering and texture.
Margaret is excited to be based at the Inglewood Arts Hub, inspired by the warm culture and rich heritage of the area. She is looking forward to sharing her skills and passion for art with the community through local workshops and an open studio at the end of her residency.
Margaret's work is held in private collections in NSW, ACT, WA, and Europe. She has exhibited in Fine Art at Perth College, Lawley Art Auction, Lifeline Exhibition, Juniper Galleries and is currently preparing for a solo exhibition 'A Collection of Colour' in Mount Lawley for the end of October 2023.
