Meet our Term 3 & 4 Artists-in-Residence

We are looking forward to having local artists Susan Hoy (Left) and Chenoa Trupp-Probst (right) join us at the Hub as artists in residence for term 3 & 4 in 2024.

Susan Hoy is a visual artist based in Perth, Western Australia.  Her art practice is multidisciplinary, encompassing painting, sculpture, and textiles. Influenced by her immediate environment and her own identity, she explores recurring themes of home and habitats, with a focus on respecting and preserving the natural environment.

Chenoa Trupp-Probst is an artist based in Boorloo/Perth. She has a strong affection for color and a deep passion for portraying the female figure. Through her art, Chenoa conveys vulnerability, liberation, love, and power. Her introspective approach challenges society's misogynistic expectations and explores concepts related to the self, subject, object, and environmental issues, including those related to climate change. As a young and ambitious creative, Chenoa uses her experiences to create complex layers of intertwined colors, reflecting the journey of self-discovery.
